Chapter 7

As soon as they were outside the building, Bella asked Star and Mike to set her down. She lay down on the pavement, gasping for breath, as if she had just finished a marathon, Her face was still a little green. "Wow, you're green, Bella." Mike said stupidly. "Are you sure about this? I think we should get you to the nurse's office." Star asked, ignoring Mike. "No…I'll be fine, you guys should go back to class." Bella replied weakly, still gasping for breath.

Before Star could argue with her, a velvet voice interrupted them:"Bella? What's wrong? Is she hurt? "Star turned to see Edward striding towards them, looking concerned. "I think she's fainted, I don't know what happened, she didn't even stick her finger." Mike told Edward, looking stressed. Edward looked relieved for some reason, and leaned down to talk to Bella:"Do you want me to carry you?" "No!" He ignored her. With a swift movement, Edward lifted Bella up into his arms. "You can go back to class now." He told Star and Mike, while Bella demanded to be put down. "We are supposed to take her to the nurse's office." Mike replied rather coolly.

Soon, the four of them were cramped into the office, while the nurse muttered about how many students fainted during the class every year. Noticing that Bella was getting much better, and clearly wanted to talk to Edward, Star dragged Mike back to class.
