状语从句

状语从句是主从复合句中修饰主句中动词、形容词、副词等的从句。由于其功能与副词非常相近，又被称作副词性从句。状语从句可以表示时间、地点、原因、目的、让步、结果、条件、比较和方式等。本单元主要学习原因状语从句、目的状语从句和让步状语从句。

原因状语从句

在句中说明主句原因的从句称为原因状语从句。原因状语从句可置于句首和句尾，常用引导词有 because、since、as等。

二、目的状语从句

在句中用以补充说明主句谓语动词发生的目的的状语从句称为目的状语从句。目的状语从句可置于句首、句中和句尾，常用来引导目的状语从句的引导词有so that、in order that等。

三、让步状语从句

在句子中作让步状语的从句称为让步状语从句。让步状语从句可置于句首和句尾。even though/even if引导让步状语从句，意为“即使，尽管”。如：

Even if you are an experienced staff, you should study the after-sales manual carefully.即使你是一名老员工，你也应该仔细阅读售后手册。

The customer is still unsatisfied even though they tried their best to solve the complaint.尽管他们尽全力处理投诉，客户仍然不满意。

四、读一读，记一记。
