直接引语和间接引语

引用或转述别人的话有两种方式，一种是直接引用别人的原话，叫作直接引语；另一种是用自己的话转述别人的话，叫作间接引语。直接引语前后要加引号，间接引语不用引号，用宾语从句来表达。如：

He said,"I will arrive in Beijing in two hours.”他说：“我两小时后将抵达北京。”（直接引语）

He said he would arrive in Beijing in two hours.他说他两小时后将抵达北京。（间接引语）

一、直接引语变间接引语的句型变化

直接引语变为间接引语时，从句用陈述语序，具体变化规则如下。

句中的谓语动词如果是过去时态，直接引语中谓语动词的时态须有下列变化。如：

1.一般现在时变为一般过去时

He said,"I am busy."

→He said that he was busy.

2.现在进行时变为过去进行时

She said,"We're having a meeting."

→She said that they were having a meeting

3.现在完成时变为过去完成时

He said,"I have repaired the car."

→He said that he had repaired the car.

4.一般过去时变为过去完成时

She said to me,"I saw the movie."

→She told me that she had seen the movie.

5.一般将来时变为过去将来时

He said,"I'll do it tomorrow."

→He said that he would do it the next day.

注意：如果直接引语是客观真理，变为间接引语时态不变，仍用一般现在时。

My teacher said,"Light travels faster than sound."

→My teacher said that light travels faster than sound.
